What to Expect

Our 3,5,7 or 10-day wilderness pack trips take place from late June through mid-August. They give you the chance to hike, practice your horsemanship skills, catch some gorgeous trout, and take in the splendor of Wyoming’s backcountry.

    The terrain includes high alpine bowls, boulder fields, rocky slides, and timber areas with elevations ranging from 7,000-10,000 feet.

    Visit areas where we’ve historically found and recently located elk, deer, antelope, moose, sheep, and bear.

    Fly fish for a variety of trout including yellowstone cutthroat, bonneville cutthroat, rainbow, brook, and lake trout.

The Lake Alice pack in camp is accessible from our trail head facility located on the Tri Basin Divide. This location allows us easy access and the ability to fish a few of the best drainages in the state for Cutthroat Trout.

The Wyoming Range Pack trip is for the backcountry enthusiast who likes to explore and doesn’t mind some time in the saddle.

    Look for sagebrush, pockets of aspen trees, forested hills, and a wonderful diversity of wildflowers.

The Yellowstone River Pack trip is a true backcountry experience setting out from Turpin Meadows on the banks of the Buffalo River between Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
